Manager - Iain Porter
The role of Quantock Hills AONB Manager encompasses a wide range of activities that include day to day management of the team, developing AONB policy, commenting on behalf of JAC on statutory consultations and ensuring good working practices with all partnerships.

Communications & Support Officer - Amanda Sampson
The Comms Officer role deals with all aspects of communications, including producing newsletters, annual reports, managing public relations, social media and media enquiries, events and the maintenance of the website. The role also includes administration, finance, procurement and the day to day running of the Quantock Hills Office, supporting the other officers and rangers in their roles.

Landscape Planning Officer - Alex Meletiou
With AONB's being a landscape designation it is important to have a role who can influence policy on planning in and around the AONB. This post develops guidance on planning and links with the local planning authorities to ensure that any development is sensitive to the needs of the AONB landscape.

Ranger - Andy Stevenson
The Quantock AONB Ranger is a full time role working 'on the ground' to help conserve and enhance the Quantock Hills. Andy works closely with landowners, farmers and local authorities to ensure good countryside management practices and develop strong relationships with partnership organisations.

Partnership Ranger - Owen Jones
The Partnership Ranger is a full time role shared with the Forestry England, working 'on the ground' to help conserve and enhance the Quantock Hills. Owen works closely with landowners, farmers and local authorities to ensure good countryside management practices and develop strong relationships with partnership organisations.

Community Engagement Ranger - Abby Wilkinson
The Community Engagement Ranger role is shared within the Quantock Hills AONB and the Blackdown Hills AONB (Homepage - Blackdown Hills AONB) to increase and manage the volunteering opportunities within the two AONB's and to look for new ways forward for the volunteers on the hills and enhancing the linkages with the existing volunteer groups.

Landscape Project Officer - Katie Read
The Landscape Project Officer is responsible for delivering the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme and the Greater Quantocks Landscape Development Fund. This includes promoting the schemes, working with farmers and land managers to develop projects, supporting the Local Assessment Panel, and delivering landscape projects.

Projects Manager - Mark Baker
The Projects Manager oversees the AONBs Landscapes Projects, including FiPL, Landscape Development Fund and the Landscape Improvement Scheme. The Project Manager also has a close coordination role with the Nature Recovery work of the AONB Partnership including ensuring projects provide the best outcomes for nature recovery and climate change.

Landscape Project Support Officer - Vickie Sellick
The Landscape Project Support Officer manages the administration and communications for the grants and funds delivered through the Farming in Protected Landscapes Programme and Greater Quantock Landscapes Development Fund.

Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme
Manager - Bill Jenman
The £2.6m, five year Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme (QLPS) started in spring 2020. The Manager has overall responsibility for seeing that all the different projects are delivered and targets met, keeping the budget on track, and liaising with the National Lottery Heritage Fund and other funders. The manager reports to a governing Partnership Board. For more details see:

Project Support Officer - Vickie Sellick
The Support Officer role is responsible for the QLPS’ day to day communications on the QLPS website and on social media, as well as helping to organise and administer the events and activities. Also the vital behind the scenes finance work to raise and pay orders and invoices.

Community Engagement & Volunteering Officer - Jon Barrett
The Community Engagement Officer has the key outreach role within the team, responsible for leading our events and activities programmes, both for the general public and those specifically for disadvantaged communities and individuals and will oversee all volunteering recruitment and activity within the LPS, working alongside the Quantock & Blackdown Hills AONB's Community Engagement Ranger.

Historic Heritage Officer - Dan Broadbent
The Historic Heritage Officer will lead on all the archaeological and historic buildings work for the LPS and will also have a major role in leading our archival work, looking at historic records held at the Somerset Heritage Centre to better understand and interpret the manorial history of the area.

The Wildlife Officer is responsible for delivering practical conservation works and nature-based events and activities, to explore and celebrate the natural heritage of the Landscape Partnership Scheme area.
